Bruce is a founding partner and has over 20 years corporate finance experience.
Bruce qualified with Ernst and Young in 1983 and has specialised in corporate finance since 1987. Bruce left Ernst & Young to set up HMT in 1992.
Bruce’s expertise is both in respect of transaction support and corporate finance with a particular emphasis on buy side work for corporate clients and public market transactions. He has been instrumental in the early stage funding of a large number of companies and has an extensive network of contacts who provide funding for early stage and growth businesses.
Bruce has advised on a multitude of industry sectors, including telecoms (having advised on a number of acquisitions for Spiritel), leisure (including the MBO, expansion funding and subsequent sale of Sportsworld to Tui Travel), healthcare (the initial funding, flotation, acquisition strategy and subsequent take to private of Premier Research Group and the development funding for Wound Solutions Limited) and gaming (the MBO and subsequent flotation of London Capital Group).
Downtime
Bruce is married to Lekha and lives in Oxford.
When not at work or enjoying his family, Bruce enjoys tennis, golf and horse racing and is custodian of HMT's greyhounds. An expert tipster, his recent claim to fame is tipping Mon Mome to win the Grand National at 100/1!
