Acquisition of Brandenburg
HMT Corporate Finance, led by partner Andrew Thomson and director Simon Jordan, acted as reporting accountants for Royal Bank of Scotland, Pi Capital and Applied Kilovolts in AK’s acquisition of Brandenburg.
AK has been managed by Kevin Wheelhouse since he led an MBI in 2003 supported by Royal Bank of Scotland and the vendor, Jim Hawkins. AK has acquired Brandenburg, the first target identified as part of AK’s strategy of growth through acquisition and one of its main competitors which was previously part of Emerson Electric Co.
The acquisition of Brandenburg will enhance AK’s product offering and strengthen the growth opportunities in the US.
